Seen us, and burst into tears have you? Felt the stirrings of some unsated longing to dance to venerate our ancestors and our land….Or just bored of Zumba?
We recruit new dancers (and the occasional musician) in our practise season, which is autumn and winter. The commitment is every Thursday (well, most) up until May, when we begin our performance season, with most Thursday nights at different pubs across Devon, and roughly one weekend a month at a festival.
So…
We start practise season on Thursday 10th October at 8pm in Chudleigh Knighton village hall. Come along. We teach new people a couple of dances and then assess. By Christmas we will decide who will be invited to join us and those invited will be instructed on making the kit. Those who do not make the grade will be fed to the Dartmoor Witches or thrown in the Teign.
